Application Support Specialist - L2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Specialist - Level 2 to provide advanced technical support for complex enterprise applications built on Angular.NET, and SQL Server technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless application performance in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and Resolve Complex Application Issues: Utilize problem-solving skillsanalytical thinking, and effective communication to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform In-Depth Troubleshooting: Leverage proficiency in Angular.NET, and SQL Server to perform in-depth troubleshooting of front-end and back-end components, and debug issues using various tools and techniques.
  • Analyze Application Logs and Code-Level Behavior: Apply log analysis techniques and SQL query optimization skills to analyze application logs, SQL queries, and code-level behavior to identify root causes of issues.
  • Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and QA Teams: Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skillsagile methodologies, and conflict resolution skills to work effectively with various teams and ensure optimal application performance.
  • Assist in Application Deployments and Environment Setups: Utilize knowledge of CI/CD pipelinesdeployment tools (e.g., JenkinsAzure DevOps), and environment configurations to assist in application deployments and environment setups.
  • Create and Maintain Technical Documentation: Employ technical writing skillsattention to detail, and knowledge management practices to create and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Monitor Application Performance: Use performance monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights) and capacity planning skills to monitor application performance and identify potential issues proactively.
  • Participate in System Upgrades and Maintenance: Apply knowledge of upgrade processespatch management, and backup and recovery procedures to participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of experience in application support or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular.NET (C#)SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting client-server applications, web APIs, and database issues.
  • Familiarity with scriptinglog analysis, and debugging tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNowJIRA).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare or clinical systems support.
  • Familiarity with release/change management procedures.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
