DevOps Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced professional for the role of DevOps Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and architectural oversight of all automated solutions. With a focus on driving technical excellence, this leader will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within budget. This role is pivotal in scaling the engineering organization and driving the strategic vision for SaaS technology developments.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Lead and scale a high-performing technical team of DevOps Engineers.
  
• Oversee the full lifecycle of team growth, including recruitment, onboarding, and long-term professional development.
  
• Provide mentorship to staff while demonstrating strategic leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Cultivate an environment for excellent team players and handle negotiation with senior management.
  
• Collaborate with senior management to align DevOps initiatives with broader business goals and budget requirements.
  

TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE & STRATEGY

• Architect and optimize global-scale CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust automation, testing, and deployment standards.
  
• Design and implement complex Kubernetes deployments and cloud-native architectures.
  
• Identify operational gaps and provide sophisticated automated solutions to maximize system efficiency.
  
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex distributed environments.
  
• Oversee the authoring and maintenance of advanced automation scripts using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
  
• Manage high-availability distributed deployments across both Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
  

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have over 12 years of professional experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure capacity.
  
• Mastery of Cloud concepts and deep proficiency in tools such as Docker, Argo CD, and Kubernetes.
  
• Extensive experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, and Harbor.
  
• Strong command of web technologies (Nginx, HA Proxy, Apache) and data technologies (Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Oracle, and PostgreSQL).
  
• Solid understanding of Git processes, Agile practices, and .NET/MVC development.
  

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
  
• Red Hat Linux Administration certification is required.
  
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) and CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) are highly preferred.
  
• Azure Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect credentials are a distinct advantage.
