Oracle IDM Developer & System Administrator

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Oracle Identity Management (IDM) specialist to manage and enhance our Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) ecosystem. You will focus on automating identity lifecycle processes, developing provisioning connectors, integrating applications, and maintaining reliable identity governance operations across the enterprise. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IDM System Management
    • Install, configure, and administer Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) and supporting components (OID, OUD).
    • Manage upgrades, patches, and migrations for Oracle IDM systems, ensuring stability.
  • Identity Lifecycle Development
    • Design/develop custom connectors, APIs, and integration workflows to automate user provisioning/deprovisioning for enterprise systems (HRIS, SaaS).
    • Build and maintain scripts (WLST, Shell) for role lifecycle management, reconciliation, and identity synchronization.
  • Identity Governance & Operations
    • Configure and optimize access certifications, role models, and policy workflows in OIG.
    • Monitor identity systems, troubleshoot issues in provisioning processes or reconciliation jobs.
    • Support audit/compliance efforts (SOX, GDPR) related to identity governance and access reviews.
  • Collaboration & Integration
    • Collaborate with HR, app owners, and IT teams to gather requirements for onboarding systems into the identity warehouse.
    • Document integration designs, customizations, and operational procedures.
  • System Optimization
    • Ensure high availability of Oracle IDM infrastructure (WebLogic, OIG, databases).
    • Implement security hardening for identity data flows.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with hands-on work in Oracle IDM/IAM (OIM, OAM, OID, OUD).
  • Proven experience in integrating Oracle IAM with other applications via APIs, LDAP, or connectors.
  • Experience in Oracle IAM system upgrades, patches, and version migration.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, WLST).
  • Knowledge of SSO, Federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and MFA.
  • Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and Identity Governance.
  • Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Database administration.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle IDM related Certification(s).
  • Experience with cloud IAM solutions and hybrid environments (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with audit, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).

Responsibilities

  •  Install, configure, and administer Oracle Identity & Access Management (OIM/OAM)
  • Designing and development of custom integration APIs and connectors to onboard various enterprise applications into the IAM framework
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automated user provisioning, deprovisioning, and role lifecycle management
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for all integrations, configurations, customizations, and operational procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the IAM ecosystem including authentication, authorization, and user management

Must Have

  • 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with hands-on work in Oracle IDM/IAM (OIM, OAM, OID, OUD)
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, WLST)
  • Knowledge of SSO, Federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and MFA
