Position Overview
This remote role seeks a ServiceNow Administrator with experience in integration and on-premises administration. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, integrating with external systems via REST, SOAP, and APIs, and configuring MID Servers for on-premises setups. The role also involves data synchronization using ETL processes, system upgrades, and performance tuning for ServiceNow instances. Candidates must have skills in customizing workflows, developing scripts (Client Scripts, Server Scripts), and collaborating with teams for solution design. Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow certifications, expertise in discovery and orchestration tools, integration experience with SAP, Salesforce, or LDAP, proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python, and knowledge of ITIL processes, SPM, CMDB, and Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities
1. ServiceNow Integration:
- Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and internal/ external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
- Configure and support ServiceNow MID Servers for on-premises integrations.
- Implement and maintain data transformation maps and ETL processes for data synchronization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure seamless data flow.
- Configuring STP process.
2. On-Premises Administration:
- Install, configure, and manage ServiceNow instances in an on-premises environment.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates.
- Monitor instance performance and implement tuning measures to enhance efficiency.
- Manage application servers, databases, and storage for ServiceNow on-premises setups.
3. System Configuration and Development:
- Customize and configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, and catalog items.
- Develop and manage scripts (Client Scripts, Server Scripts, etc.) to enhance functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow
Certified Application Developer ( CAD).
- Experience:
- 5+ years in ServiceNow domain.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and orchestration tools.
- He should have Experience or Very strong knowledge in installation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong expertise in integrating ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, LDAP).
- Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Powershell, or Python.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to address complex functional and technical challenges using innovative solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Team player with mentoring capabilities and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow certification : Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow modules like SPM, CMDB and uAsset Management.
