POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Tax Analyst to join an expansive global enterprise. This role is pivotal in navigating the intricate tax landscapes of a multi-billion dollar holding group with interests spanning across International Tax jurisdictions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fiscal integrity, maintaining rigorous compliance, and identifying opportunities for tax optimization within a complex corporate structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & STRATEGIC DOMAINS
Global Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Execute and oversee comprehensive Direct & Indirect Taxation strategies, ensuring alignment with the latest statutory requirements.
- Manage cross-border tax complexities across ME, EU, and Asia, providing expert guidance on regional tax treaties and local regulations.
- Direct the end-to-end processing of VAT & WHT compliance, ensuring timely filings and the mitigation of potential tax risks or penalties.
Transfer Pricing & Global Reporting
- Spearhead the documentation and strategy for Transfer Pricing, maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accuracy.
- Lead the preparation and submission of the Master File and CbCR (Country-by-Country Reporting), ensuring consistent reporting across all global business units.
- Monitor and implement frameworks related to OECD BEPS Pillar 2, ensuring the organization is prepared for the evolving global minimum tax standards.
Optimization & Stakeholder Management
- Conduct proactive tax optimization reviews to identify efficiencies and enhance the organization’s post-tax financial position.
- Act as a central point of stakeholder coordination, collaborating with finance leadership, legal departments, and external auditors to streamline tax operations.
- Monitor changes in international tax law to provide real-time impact assessments to senior management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Academic & Professional Credentials
- Essential: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Preferred: A dual qualification as a Company Secretary (CS) or a Law Graduate is highly preferred to manage the legal nuances of international tax structures.
Experience & Skill Set
- A minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a dedicated tax role within a large corporate or a Big 4 environment.
- Advanced proficiency in navigating International Tax frameworks and managing multi-jurisdictional tax audits.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder coordination across different time zones and cultural business environments.
- Strong command of technical tools and software used for tax optimization and reporting.
