Job Summary
We seek a seasoned Exchange Server & Office 365 Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Exchange (2019) and Office 365 environments. The ideal candidate will lead migration projects, optimize hybrid systems, and ensure robust security/compliance frameworks. This role demands expertise in mail flow management, Active Directory, Azure AD, and server administration, coupled with leadership capabilities to guide technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Exchange & Office 365 Infrastructure Management:
- Administer on-premises Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online (O365) environments.
- Execute mailbox migrations between Exchange 2013/2016/2019 and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot mail flow issues (SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM) and Outlook/OneDrive synchronization.
- Hybrid Cloud Operations:
- Configure and maintain hybrid Exchange deployments.
- Manage Azure AD Connect synchronization and identity federation.
- Implement security protocols (DLP, TLS, SSL) and conduct compliance audits.
- Technical Leadership:
- Mentor junior engineers and assign tasks to ensure project deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents.
- Document architecture changes, RCA reports, and best practices.
- Tooling & Automation:
- Utilize PowerShell for automation of Exchange/O365 tasks.
- Leverage tools like Fiddler, SARA, Event Viewer, and Log Parser for diagnostics.
- Monitor system health via Kibana or similar logging platforms.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with clients to assess needs and deliver tailored CRM solutions.
- Coordinate with Microsoft Support via O365 Admin Portal for escalated cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019) and Office 365 administration.
- Technical Expertise:
- Exchange Server: Mailbox migration, DAG, transport rules.
- Office 365: Tenant management, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance Center.
- Active Directory/Azure AD: Group policies, synchronization, authentication.
- Mail Flow: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DNS management.
- Tools: Proficiency in PowerShell, Fiddler, Event Viewer, SARA, and ServiceNow.
- Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified (e.g., MS-203, MS-700) preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, client communication, and problem-solving.
Work Environment
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (KSA time zone).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lotus-to-Exchange/O365 migrations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Skype for Business, and SharePoint.
- Background in ITIL processes or service management frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
