General Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance automation, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budgetary constraints. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage Kubernetes deployments and orchestration solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Git.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Docker and container registries like Harbor.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures to mitigate future issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and maintain both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to design and deploy scalable, distributed systems.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in SaaS and cloud-native ecosystems.

Knowledge and Technical Requirements

• Essential Technologies:
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, and ArgoCD.
  • Expertise in automation and configuration management using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of web technologies like nginx, HA Proxy, and Apache.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts and distributed systems.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with .NET Framework and MVC development.
  • Certifications such as Red Hat Linux Administration, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), or cloud architect certifications (AWS/Azure).
