Job Brief
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with mandatory expertise in the healthcare domain to champion quality assurance for mission-critical, HIPAA-compliant software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess 7–10 years of QA experience, with 5+ years dedicated to healthcare systems (e.g., EHR/EMR platforms, medical device software, FHIR/HL7 interoperability). You will design compliance-driven test strategies, ensure audit-ready documentation, and safeguard PHI data integrity across regulated healthcare workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Healthcare-Focused Test Planning: Analyze clinical system requirements, HIPAA security rules, and patient safety protocols to design risk-based test cases (manual/automated).
- Validation of Regulatory Compliance: Test audit trails, role-based access controls (RBAC), data encryption, and PHI handling in alignment with FDA/ HIPAA guidelines.
- EHR/EMR & Medical Device Testing: Execute end-to-end testing for patient records management, diagnostic integrations, medication alerts, and medical IoT systems.
- Defect Management: Prioritize and document defects impacting clinical workflows or regulatory adherence using tools like Jira.
- Automation: Build reusable frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) for regression testing of critical healthcare modules.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory Experience
- 7–10 years in software QA, with 5+ years in healthcare IT (e.g., EHRs, telemedicine, HIPAA-compliant cloud apps).
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and regulatory validation.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- API testing for healthcare integrations (e.g., Lab systems, pharmacy databases).
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or GDPR for medical software.

Must Have
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in a software testing role, with a significant portion dedicated to the healthcare domain (e.g., EHR/EMR, HIPAA-compliant systems, medical devices, healthcare data interoperability)
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QTest) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies
- A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related engineering branch
